20% of this season he's played as striker for Ajax, not wonderful in the air, but is a great finisher. Flexible enough to play either wing and attacking midfield. Already got 13 assists this season so can help with the loss of Eriksen. He has been more of a provider than van de Beek and Bruno Fernandes has only got one more assist than him this season. Perfect fit as she can play striker if needed

I'm still out the country but had a message we're close on piatek and Willian Jose (would only sign one I'd imagine and I don't know which Mourinho prefers) and Bergwijn.

As I said before Werner still primary target but think he won't move this month.

Sounds promising, still want a striker though. Love a Dave Mackay type transfer.

Seems if he joins and lo Celso becomes permanent we have addressed the lack of creativity and have options of son steve and moura up top without breaking the bank. Is that all our problems solved now that serge makes minimal mistakes and Japhet has come through? I suppose we need to get tanguy fit and firing.

Now just have to sell wanyama rose Eriksen kwp and forth. We will be quids in with wages and any fees should cover the purchases of lo Celso and Bergwijn.

Quids in?? I doubt it and nothing would be solved because without a DM and striker we won't be make much progress at all

Bergwijn has gone on line and said wheels are in motion behind the scenes. Yes heís not an out and out striker but would anyone join us on a permanent basis when we all know when Harry is back the replacement will be on the bench.

Bergwijn can play striker in a similar way to depay. The only way we will get a striker in is a loan.

The way we set up now lends itself not to an out and out dm. I think a petit/ Viera type set up with Lo Celso/ Ndombele filling the roles could be the future

Sorry but neither Le Celso or N'dombele are DM's. They're both attacking midfielders so we still need a sitting midfielder to protect the back line even if we're playing with a three in the midfield

I see it more as getting competition for the attackers like Son, Moura Alli, Lamela with Eriksen leaving but we would still need a DM and striker

With the amount of goals he scores, Salah is a striker

He's in London but without his clubs permission. We've gazzumped Leicester apparently.

He's not what we need urgently but club consider it too good an opportunity to miss as he's been a target for a while.

Hope they just accept a decent bid now as lads position is clear that he wants to join us.
