The way that TE works is that if a season ticket holder puts his ticket on TE and that ticket is then sold, the season ticket holdr will be credited with the proceeds. Somehow I cant see Daniel sanctioning refunds

Talk that if cancelled last season's positions are maintained which would be crazy.

I imagine this will have a huge impact on football finance worldwide. A lot of smaller clubs may be more desperate to sell players to stay afloat, and even big clubs will feel the pinch from this. Might see transfers returning to levels of a few years ago to compensate. Levy's solid financial planning and large profits should shield us from being too badly hit, wonder if we'll profit from the market dip by snapping up targets.

Thinking about it the players will still be being paid their salaries but there won't be any gate receipts or other matchday income. Could well see some clubs going bankrupt from this.

Same as this mate. Coronavirus is a very serious matter and a lot of business/football clubs will be affected financially and families affected horribly.

But in a football sense this is an absolute god send for us...personally I REALLY HOPE they make this season null and void and start again with the same clubs in the PL and CL places. It would be a second chance for our club to get it right and forget the trash we’ve seen this season. And it would be utterly hilarious for Liverpool to not win the title now LOL

Again I want to reiterate that the virus is an awful thing which it’s a huge shame for the entire country with regards to losing loved ones and having a really tough few months.

So now what happens. One thing is for certain, because of the Champions league and Europa league, all the countries in Europe will have to be consistent. Also, because of promotion and relegation, all the leagues will have to be consistent. Three weeks is optimistic, and even if they do start again in early April, getting the rest of the games in before the end of the season is close to impossible. If the Euros go ahead, it's going to be hard to extend the season also. Alternatively the seasons could end now, but there are problems aligned with this. Firstly, not all sides have played the same amount of games, and secondly, the teams facing relegation aren't going to lie down and die. I'm going to take a punt on this. I think the Euros will be cancelled and played next summer, and the season will re-start some time this summer, giving enough time for a short break prior to next season.

I don't see a way where the season cannot be null and void.

You can't predict what would happen to relegation or top four and no exception should be made for Liverpool just because they were two wins away.

You can't play the games or extend the season because contracts are up and teams will still be missing players through suspected illness.
