Iíve done nothing but keep to the topic title Ďcorona virusí and because Iíve blasted Bojo at his incompetence with facts and figures youíve decided to throw the text book Ďfascistí comment and present Farage as a counter argument.

Iíve done 4 years of clipping the far right round the back of the head so feel free .. continue lol

I take nothing away from his military achievements and that of the allies , freedom was fought for and won.

The British Empire and colonialism was very controversial including Churchill but People and societies have evolved and have questioned Churchill as a man and person and what mould he was of. Just because itís debated it doesnít mean mean the racist card is thrown.

Like I said , itís very complex .

Not good news for The UK.

UK may face harder job getting EU vaccines after Brussels tightens export rules
By Euronews • Updated: 24/03/2021 - 13:00

The European Commission will tighten the criteria to authorise the export of EU-made coronavirus vaccines in a bid to secure supplies for citizens inside the bloc.

The move follows weeks of shortages and delays, especially related to Anglo-Swedish company AstraZeneca, which has caused great frustration across the continent.

Brussels plans to incorporate the principles of "proportionality and reciprocity" into the transparency mechanism that was introduced at the end of January and will assess "case by case" the export requests from pharmaceutical companies.

This means vaccination-leading countries like the UK could face a harder task getting vaccines from EU countries.

Donít know much about vaccines to be honest. Just think it involves a formula, ingredients and method as part of the manufacturing process. I am sure there are countless laboratories in the world that have vaccine producing facilities so why canít the Oxford, Modena, Pfizer etc developers just share their research, knowledge etc and so many more labs could be producing the stuff. It should not be profit making either.
I am probably talking nonsense but it just seems logical to me.

Good point, I read somewhere that the Oxford/AZ is sold at cost price which may (or may not) have led to The EU getting all uppity a couple of weeks back being coerced by 'big pharma'.

They should be sharing this tech though, I agree.
