Another one of our boys from 66 has died.
A no-nonsense old-fashioned centre-half, he was a surprisingly tactile manager, successful and liked by his players.
RIP.

I loved the old leeds team with jack .
What a team don revie built with jack at the heart of that defence.
Jacks managerial skills were ok also.
I doubt many 4 legged or 2 legged creatures {with wings} will bemoan his loss as most days he took out a shotgun and blasted then out of existence.
For me thats the only downside for the bloke.
Great attitude in this age of losing rare british species like the hare etc etc etc.

It is genuinely very hard to be loved in both England and the Republic of Ireland if you are not a good person.
What he did with the Ireland team in particular was excellent and hasn't been replicated since.
