Bit of speculation doing the rounds because steve hitchen was seen at last nights norwich game.

Why was he there ?

1) Maybe to rival arsenal,s interest in emi Buendia ? Personal opinion is that do we need any more non home grown players.

2) Another theory is that we may be running the rule over norwich players like Max Aarons & Todd Cantwell as possible summer signings.

3) Could we be about to recall Ollie Skipp possibly to play him and hojberg in a 2 with Ndombele in front ?

I suppose all will be revealed = eventually .

someone being seen somewhere (if true) could also mean he,s in a bubble with his Granny :grinny: but as you say if so then clearly there is a purpose.

LOL ! On reading the report I did wonder if certain football people are allowed in at games apart from the relevant teams and associated staff?

Perhaps scouts can still errrrrr ! Well ! = Scout.

I believe we've missed the deadline to recall Skipp though I hear it was discussed, which bodes well for him next season when Sissoko is another year older and Winks will most likely be gone.

I've not watched Norwich at all this season but really liked look of Buendia previously. Hear Cantwell form has dipped badly and I never really fancied Aarons as being up to it at the top level.

Turns out he was there to monitor the progress of skipp rather than actually looking at potential purchases.

Doesnt sissoko,s contract run out this summer ? signed in 2016 on a 5 year contract i believe unless its been extended somewhere along the line.

Shame about winksy because he didnt cost anything ! its good to see them progress from the academy.

Hope skipp makes it.

Just found out sissy signed a contract extension in 2019.

Runs until end of 2022/23 season when he will be approaching his 34th birthday in august.

As much as a few would want him gone he looks hard to sell on ! not only because of the type of player he is but also his age.

Think it will be a case of him seeing out his contract at spurs in ! much the same as rose but without the animosity.
