Today is a massive step forward for Planet Spurs, as we have managed to come to an agreement for BETTINGLATEST.COM to be the main sponsor of our website until the end of the 2010 World Cup.

BETTINGLATEST.COM is a Betting website with Forums, giving you the chance to go and talk to other sports fans everywhere about the latest tips for gaining money. The forums will cover all events including every Spurs game (the owner being a self-confessed Spurs fan!), and other events such as the Grand National which will be coming up in April . The forums are currently small but are ready for growth, having competitions for members already taking place with cash prizes. BETTINGLATEST.COM have already annouced that a new competition starting in April for active members will have considerably higher cash prizes. Which shows how keen they are to have a strong following.

The deal for us here at Planet Spurs is to advertise BETTINGLATEST.COM until the final whistle of the 2010 World Cup final. The income from this deal is good enough to secure Planet Spursí short term future as well as gain licenses and other things that we require to help the website grow in reputation as well as capacity.
I would like to urge all members who are interested in the Betting world, even more so if you are into the Online Betting world to join BETTINGLATEST.COM. It will be the place to be.

Looks like a good site, when the community there grows it could be very good. Good to see the future of this site secured (for the time being at least) as well.

excellent Ive just had a quick look but will look at it more in depth later, Ive never backed on line, always been worried about security, and used my local "Magic Sign" Ladbrookes.

Good to see the site has find some financial backing by a third party. L

eaves me with the question: what will be done with the individual donations of the members who've recently donated in the "Planet Spurs need your help" fund-raiser?

It all adds up still mate, and all money raised from sponsors and kind donations will be pumped straight back into the site. None of us are paid for the work we do, and Keane has never run this place for personal gain, so we can assure you every penny we raise will be used to make the site better for all of you.

As it went donations are brilliant but they don't offer a gaurenteed security, because donations can differ from month to month.

Donations allow us to purchase Premier League licenses, competition prizes etc. Our first initial priority is to secure our excistence by paying for our hosting, anything raised on top is pumped straight back in.

I've joined the website too and added it to my favorites smile.gif Often have a bet on the football although I don't find myself winning a lot lately. Hopefully I can do better with some tips from this site, and may help me know what i'm doing when it comes to the likes of the grand national too.

Just wanted to drop in say hello to you all and that we are very pleased to have done this deal with PlanetSpurs.

I am indeed a Spurs fan and have been since i can remember, i went to a school called somerset school on white hart lane and have seen many a memorable game (and not so memorable)

I have not been for a few years now but that is down to the fact that i have been living abroad for while, but i was there when Villa and Ossie made their home debuts against Villa (we lost 4-1) i saw Hoddle stick the penalty away against QPR at wembley to lift the cup and so much more.

Therefore it is not only a business decision that i wanted to partner with PlanetSpurs but also a personal one.

Ok bettinglatest, as you can see it is brand new about 10 days old in fact, and as in all new forums it is always a huge struggle to get posters but we will dig in and perservere.

The forum is weak at the moment but in time more and more content will be added including how to guides, calculators, live score, odds and so on including a Cheltenham section going live tomorrow.

There is one type of person that is not welcome and that is anyone with a gambling problem, please please do not visit and if you do have a gambling problem then please send me an email and i will be very happy to put you in touch with some help groups.

Betting and gambling should always be fun and not destructive.

I welcome anybody else to bettinglatest and hope that in time it will become a great resource for anyone that likes a flutter.

If you need any help in opening betting accounts or advice on how to bet and so on then please drop me a PM at bettinglatest and i will be very happy to help.

In fact any questions at all about bettinglatest please do not hesitate in dropping me a line.

I will ask one thing though, this site is PlanetSpurs forum and i do not want to interefere here or sidetrack any issues on here with info about my site, i respect this site to much to do that.

I will use this site as a Spurs fan and only as a Spurs fan not as a guy trying to plug bettinglatest, i have an agreement in place with PlanetSpurs and will stick to it.

Hope i have not bored you and i wish you all the very best of luck

Martin

It's good news.

The least we can do is join the sponsor's forum and use it.

I will give you a good tip, best stick to going to your bookies, dont have an account as its all to easy to just ring up and possibly gamble money you dont have, and secondly,
DONT EVER CHASE MONEY, if you loose your stake thats it, try again another day.
ive been betting on horses and rugby League for 40 years, so I know a bit about what Im saying. Just stick to your stake what ever you can afford and you wont go far wrong nice1.gif

10 Betting Tips that should NOT be ignored. They may help you keep away from the poor house.........

1. Only bet what money you can afford to lose.

2. NEVER chase your loses. Just walk away when you lose and remember tomorrow or next week is another day or week.

3. NEVER change your mind on a selection.

4. NEVER expect to get rich via gambling. You NEVER see a bookie riding a bike !

5. Only bet on your own selections. I have gambled for over 30 years, I started as a 10 year old, and I can count on ONE hand the amount of Tips that I've recieved that have resulted in winners.

6. NEVER back odds-on. They really are the quick route to the poor house.

7. If doing accumulators always stick to small stakes. Yes the returns can be high, Ive had a few up, but the odds really are stacked against you.

8. NEVER open a credit account with a bookies. You lose all sense of value when you bet that way and thus can, or rather will, run up Big Losses. I know I have done this on many occassions !

9. When you have a win always buy yourself or a loved one something with the winnings or put it to good use. Don't just give it back to the bookies ! And NEVER think you are invincible or the 'game is easy' when you do have a win !

10. Avoid like the plague those roulette machines in bookmakers. I have NEVER played them and NEVER will. When I have had a Big Win the bookies have always had to empty those machines to pay me out. They really are a MUGS PUNTERS toy. If you want to play roulette go to a proper Casino, they are much more fun and the odds are not stacked against you like these machines.

I abso luteley agree, but relatively new gamblers might not be aware of this and could easily get led astray to open an account.
