hotspur sorry im if coming over too argumnentative, i understand your point just giving a few others myself.
journeyman i think youve got it right i think its only fair to give teams a season to get themselves sorted.

Hey stoxy mate no problem, this is what forums are all about having debates. .

My point is that NO Premiership match should ever be called off because of a Frozen Pitch. .

There will spmetimes be 'other factors' like safety concerns around the Stadium, or like todays sheer weight of snow that has caused the Arse game at the emirates to be called off, that you can do nothing about. But it should never be just down to a frozen pitch and if EVERY Premier League team had undersoil heating that would always be the case. . .

Why don't they just call it off now? I bet they will delay announcing the ineviatable until just a couple of hours before kick-off on Sunday. It always seems that if a game is Live on SKY or ESPN they delay announcing the game is off until literally the last minute....... angry2.gif

Looking outside in Essex at the moment, it doesnt look like the game will go ahead.
Remember Man U's game at Blackpool a few weeks back was called off.

I was just watching football focus and they already called off Chelsea v Man Utd! Do you see a pattern?

If our game goes ahead the FA and Premier League will look a total joke.

I am afraid the snow has beaten us lads as the match has been postponed.
So we look forward to the next one A/Villa away next week hopefully weather allowing.

Blackpool is depressing as fck this time of year isnt it!

I went to the Burnley semi final away a few years ago. Decided to stay up north for a few days as we had United in the FA cup on the Sunday. I was gonna spend one day in Blackpool, I was there for an hour and went to Leeds instead. God it was dead, no pubs/bars open, not even a strip club.
