I wonder what this game will bring, especially after our last home game, WHL seems to be the place to be for all supporters if you want to see a goal feast. We go into todays game on the back of a brilliant 4-4 against Chelsea, that could have so easily been a 5-4 win for us, but Im happy with a point knowing that we took two off of Chelsea.
The origins of Portsmouth are officially that they were founded in an office with £4,500.00 to buy some ground near “Goldsmiths Avenue” in 1898.
The last time we played them was on 15th December 2007, at their ground, and it was a dam cold day. We won that match 1-0, with Berbatov scoring our goal giving us our first league away win for the season. That game Pompey had four former Spurs players on duty, Campbell, Paramot, Mendes, and Sean Davis.
Their most recent buy from us JD is not eligible to play in this game, (so he will just have to watch us scoring). There has been all sorts of talk re team selection but on the day I think that several players will be rotated (as Ive stated in our forums).
Not sure of line up but on the day our commitment, and the tactical awareness of Senor Ramos will Im sure be enough to get us all three points. On a personal note I just hope that we don’t see Keano being substituted at a critical point in the game (if there is any). But Senor Ramos will do what he considers best for the team, and I take us to win 3-1, Berba 2 with Keano adding the third, but at the end of the day will happily settle for 1-0.
COME ON YOU SPURS
