Spurs Rejected Milan Berba Bid

Our sources can confirm today that AC Milan had a bid for Tottenham striker Dimitar Berbatov rejected a few weeks ago, which is thought to have been in the region of £20m.

Tottenham have also recieved enquiries from several other clubs, although no other official bids have been placed.

The news comes after AC Milan vice president Adriano Galliani told SKY Italia that they will no longer pursue their interest in Berbatov, instead going for an attempt for Eto'o, Drogba or Adebayor.

Although one club has pulled out already, it is believed that Berbatov could yet make a move to Spain, with a price tag set by Tottenham of around £30m

How is it that your sources can only confirm today what happened 'a few weeks ago'? Do they have any more recent news? Have they told you that we've signed Dos Santos yet? ;-)

because our sources are real people rather than a random rumour generator. and we'll expect to announce dos santos signing sometime during janurary lol

If we get a bid of £20M for him we should take it. This will finance signings of players who actually want to play for spurs.

Nope, we should hold out for £30m. There's going to be a lot of strikers moving shortly and the good ones are in short supply.

He cost 10mil and clearly doesnt want to play for us. Fcuk him off for crying out loud. 20mil is a good price. We need a defensive mid fielder, a centre back and a goal keeper. Poulsen, Dunne, Coupet/Richardo/Hart

Whether Berbatov stays or goes, can someone with any influence do something to make sure we do not see the team walking out on the opening day of the season wearing hooped socks. They look ridiculous and should be replaced with plain white.
